Elephanté is committed to protecting the privacy of all personal information in our care. When handling personal information, we abide by the following Privacy Principles:

We respect your privacy

We are committed to providing the highest quality online personal-improvement services in a manner that fosters trust and confidence among our customers, employees and representatives. That commitment includes protecting the privacy of all the personal information in our care.

Personal information

When you register for Elephante, we collect personal and demographic information, such as your age group, gender identity, geographic location, employment status and email address. This information is collected as part of the provision of services, and to allow you to compare your own survey results with people who are in similar demographics.

We also collect your survey information about your mental health and well-being at the time you complete the survey.

When you complete a survey, your results are added to our data set, including your demographic information. We use this information to provide summary reports as well as comparison reports for other individuals using Elephante. We do not share individual results with anyone but that individual person (based on the email address provided at registration), and we do not share any information that could identify you to others.

If you are registered with Elephante as part of an organization/company, we do share the overall results of the survey for all members of that organization, including demographic data and subsets. We do not share individual results, and we do not share any information that could identify you to your employer.

All information collected is treated with the utmost privacy and confidentiality, as per the laws of the Province of Alberta. We will not disclose, share or sell your data, other than as noted above, unless required to do so by law or by court order.
